In the wake of the racial uprisings of 2020, after the police killings of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, a group of activists, architects, designers, and city officials came together to create a 600-foot BLM mural in the civic heart of Manhattan.

The Bronx is Breathing: Reimagining a Cleaner Hunts Point

Hunts Point, The Bronx, New York

Lead strategy and grant development for the $10 million NYSERDA grand prize winner. This initiative will advance plans to bring clean transportation solutions to Hunts Point food distribution, New York State’s busiest trucking hub. The project will reduce air pollution, advance freight electrification, and support clean mobility in one of New York’s most underserved communities.

Directed development of a planning framework, design guidelines and site selection for a curbside electric vehicle charging station program on streets in New York City.

Developed a new shuttle route to improve accessibility for employees of a business zone in a transit desert, utilizing Dollaride’s technology to digitize NYC “dollar vans” (or jitneys).
